UGANDA HUMAN NEEDS EVANGELISM PROJeCT
January & September/October 2019
(Specific Dates Coming Soon)
Vision: The team will use Mama Kits, food, animal husbandry, and BGR Buckets for Aids patients to share Christ and encourage church planting.
Project Description: Uganda has endured some of the worst atrocities over the past 30 years that has created a human crisis beyond measure. Many churches and Christian Organizations have been working to help orphans, single moms, hunger, aids patients, and other desperate human needs to share the love of Christ.
Along with representatives of the International Mission Board, Central has made several trips into Uganda with amazing results by meeting some of the human needs and sharing Christ. Volunteers have given Mama Kits, which is a bundle of sterile items that they would carry with them to the clinic or a mid-wife to have their baby, from bedding, towels, soap, and other necessary items. While doing this they share the simple gospel in story form. They saw over 125 baptisms with 600 individuals making the decision to follow Jesus last year. The response to Christ is amazing!
The team will give Mama Kits, visit orphanages, schools, give animals, food and BGR buckets to share Christ to the people working with Ugandan Pastors that have been trained in the Baptist Seminary of Uganda. These men will follow up on those that make decisions for Christ.
Team Size: 10
Price:$3,500 (Fuel surcharge may be applicable) Apply on line or at the Mission Kiosk at each campus. Include a $300.00 deposit that is non-refundable with the application.
Family outreach project - northeast poland
JULY 5 - 14, 2019
Vision: Families even those with smaller children, couples without children and singles are invited to go to Poland and participate in a camp where you will role model family life in Christ and present the gospel to Polish families who are at the camp with you.
Overview: Each year we have a family camp where we invite 12 +/- Polish families to join us for a week at a small resort in the forest. Some families are close to making decisions for Christ or have recently made decisions for Christ. The goal of the camp to provide the families with opportunities to hear about how Christ has changed lives. Some of these Polish families come with a great burden on their hearts wanting to see God work in their lives. Some come with just a curiosity, so will you have the opportunity to see God use you to open the doors in their lives. A team of 8 to 12 people is needed to host the camp. The team should have at least one family with a dad and mother, with children along with couples, university students, and singles. The Poles attending will be divided into three groups: adults, teenagers, and children. The team will provide daily Bible lessons for adults, teenagers and children. There will be family games and crafts and plenty of free time to talk and fellowship with the families. The camp is in a beautiful, green, lush, wooded area. Each family will stay in a small wooden cabin with two rooms and a bathroom. All meals will be Polish and eaten together in a dining hall. All activities will be outside. This camp is the most important event of the year for the resident missionaries.

NORTHEAST poland PRAYER WALKING
Mission: A prayer walk project in N. E. Poland to help Chuck & Vikki Franks as they plan to relocate and begin new work in Liawa.
Overview: Central Baptist Church has been at work for over 10 years in N.E. Poland. We have seen God use our missionaries as they partner with Polish Baptists to make headway in a very difficult Catholic area. Statistics show that Poland is 98% Christian, but basically that means the vast majority are Catholic in name only, without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They believe that Mary and Jesus are co-redeemers, and one must go through Mary to get to Jesus. Therefore, they have placed their faith in the wrong person. They further believe Mary is deity.
The Franks work closely with Marcin, pastor of Olstzynek Baptist Church, who has an awesome burden to see his people come to know Jesus. This team will work alongside the Franks to pray and help them target the areas where work will need to begin, as well as help determine what type of projects and volunteers will be needed for the next phase of the work.
Specifics: One volunteer may be asked to make a cultural presentation with pictures from a mission trip to another country. You could share a bit about the culture, how as a missionary you shared Christ, and share the gospel with the kids. The teamwill be visiting 2-3 English clubs. The team may make visits in homes that Marcin believes would benefit from the visit. The rest of the time will be spent prayer walking. One volunteer may be asked to preach on Sunday.
Logistics: The team will arrive in Warsaw on the 18thand travel to Olstzyn the same afternoon. They will worship with Polish believers on the 19th. Then, for the next 5 days they will be with the Franks on the field, praying and meeting people of peace.
Price: Price:$2,700 Includes in-country food, airfare, housing, and transportation per person but the price may fluctuate depending on the price of fuel at the time of purchase of airline tickets. Does not include meals en route to and from the field of service in airports and to and from airports. Application plus 10% deposit required before team airline reservations can be made.

Koro, West Africa - youth camp
July 12 - 20, 2019
Vision:To impact young Koro students of all ages with the gospel through drama, testimonies, and recreation in “Trumann”, a key Koro village.
Overview:God has used three teams in a row to see several young people come to Jesus in a Muslim environment. These young people are praying an hour each day with one of their professors to see their campus come to Jesus. The team will be well trained but the team also needs to be creative. Taking strategic Bible Stories and acting them out brings great insight to Africans. Creating a bond through sports is an awesome venue, especially if the team learns to play soccer. They would love to challenge you and win! Also, telling stories and building creative activities around the stories helps make sure they remember them. Pastor “Elijah” senses that now is the time to see many young people come to Jesus. You may have some late-night sessions, as some will want to linger and visit with you. This is going to be good!!!
CBC met the Koro for the first time on a vision trip in the Northern Ivory Coast in 1998.The team was impressed with the friendliness and openness of the people to receive strangers whom they suspected to be Christian. The Koro are 99.9% Muslim and have been since about the 15thcentury. CBC had numerous contacts through 2002, until civil war broke out in the Ivory Coast. In 2007, a team traveled back into the country with the former missionaries, and they were welcomed. As a result, relationships were re-established, and now we have 2 Koro and several Biole and Senufo churches in that area.
Application: Mission Application with a $350 non-refundable deposit. Applications available online at centralbaptist.com. Price includes all land, air travel, visa, in country food & housing. Does not include inoculations and personal expenses.
Koro, West Africa - Church planting partnership Project
may 9 - may 17, 2019
Mission: To continue to connect churches with trained church planters that are engaging Unreached Peoples in the Ivory Coast.
Overview:CBC met the Koro for the first time on a vision trip in the Northern Ivory Coast in 1998. The team was impressed with the friendliness and openness of the Koro people to receive strangers whom they suspected to be Christian. The Koro are 99.9% Muslim and have been since about the 15thcentury. CBC had numerous contacts through 2002 with the Koro, until civil war broke out in the Ivory Coast. In 2007, a team traveled back into the country with the former missionaries, and they were welcomed. As a result, relationships were re-established with the Koro. Not only are we engaging the Koro but now have broadened the scope of inviting other churches to do the same in other areas with other UPGs of the Ivory Coast.
Elijah Walker, an Ivoirian Pastor with a PhD in Missions from Mid America Seminary, joined our team and he has been invaluable in strategy and discipling. But much further he has petitioned the Ivoirian Baptist Union to use the land near Toumidi for a church planting institute to train church planters. Central was the first to connect with one of these trained planters and Daniel and Helen are doing a great job among the Koro People. Ebele has now gotten several other planters ready to engage other unreached peoples with the gospel.
On this project, we want pastors of churches in America to prayerfully go and get to know the planters and the UPGs. As God leads, we are asking churches to engage the planter and the UPG in partnership. This partnership for the churches in the US would be to pray continually for the UPG, the Planter, as well as support the planter, and provide a motorcycle for transportation. As God leads, the church may want to send prayer walk teams to help “break up the ground” spiritually with the planter.
Costs: $3,500. *Price includes lodging, meals on site, travelinsurance, airfare, and transportation. Does not include visa, meals in route to and from the field of service, in airports, and to and from airports.
Application:Mission Application with a $350 non-refundable deposit. Applications available online centralbaptist.com.
English Outreach Project - Takasaki, Japan
June, July or August 2019
Vision: Youth, College and Young Adults are invited to go to Takasaki Japan and participate in a conversational English meetings with students and adult that have a deep desire to learn English. This is the door God has provided us to begin to share our story about the greatest gift of salvation with them.
Overview: The mission of this team is to look, see and hear every opportunity to share the gospel. We will be prayer walking and having conversations with other students and adults in English with the intentions of sharing the Love of Christ. Assisting the missionaries there with various activities and to build credibility with the Japanese people we come in contact with.
There are basically two religious systems that have had the most influence in Japan, Shinto and Buddhism. There’s an individual who owns a burger restaurant that we have a relationship with and we have shared with and enjoys meeting Americans. We always like to bring people to meet him and it brings up opportunities to continue to share with him. We will plan additional events for English conversations for the team to host while they are there in one of the restaurants or one of the local schools.
There are also a handful of variables considering the makeup of the team. If they're sporty, there are opportunities to play some different sports with some college students that we know. There will be many opportunities to prayer walk using the rental bike system and ride around the city praying and chatting with people we met. We got to share the gospel with a handful of people this way and the team would get to see some of the things that are really going on there in Japan. The size of the group is important… It’s better for the team to be relatively small, it’s would be difficult to involve everyone with a big team, less that 10 would be good.
People should expect to use English as a way to meet people and draw interest. We do a lot of things that are focused on English conversation as a way to meet people and open the conversation. Sports is also an avenue that is use to meet people, but that would depend on the team that is coming. We could possibly work out some sort of children's event if necessary.
Flexibility being the key!
Price: $3,000 Includes in-country food, airfare, housing, and transportation per person but the price may fluctuate depending on the price of fuel at the time of purchase of airline tickets. Does not include meals in route to and from the field of service, in airports and to and from airports.
Application plus 10% deposit required before team airline reservations can be made.
Community and Church Outreach Project

Canada is in a reformation of the church since the 60’s. You will see that God is not on the peoples mind as you minister but we will see the lost in ways you never thought. The Forgotten 50 website and looked at it again and all 50 college campuses on this list are located in Canada.
Check this out some time!

So you will be part of God’s hands and feet in a very nontraditional way in Montreal. Be prepare to see and hear what a French millenniums culture has to say about God! No worries, they speak both French and English there.
